YouTube Content ID Approval Request - How It Works?

To activate Youtube Content ID on your HolaTune dashboard to monetize your music used on Youtube's videos, you need to complete the process below.

Our Quality Control team will then review under 48h your request and check if your music or/and music label meets the necessary requirements according Youtube rules.

 

YouTube Content ID Approval – Eligibility & Requirements

To activate YouTube Content ID through HolaTune and monetize your music used in YouTube videos, your recordings must meet our strict eligibility requirements.

IMPORTANT: HolaTune does NOT accept AI-generated music for YouTube Content ID. Music created fully or partially using Suno, Udio, or similar AI music-generation tools is not eligible, even with a paid subscription or commercial rights.

YouTube Content ID Requirements:

  1. 100% Original Music: All recordings must be original, human-created works.

  2. Exclusive Ownership: You must own or exclusively control all necessary rights to your recordings.

  3. No AI-Generated Music: AI-generated vocals, instrumentals, or compositions are strictly prohibited.

  4. No Third-Party Content: Cover songs, unauthorized remixes, non-exclusive beats, samples, royalty-free loops, and stock music are not eligible.

  5. No Generic Audio: Nature sounds, white noise, sound effects, and similar functional recordings are not accepted.

  6. No Duplicate Registration: Recordings already registered with another Content ID provider must be cleared before submission.

How to Request Approval:

  1. Contact HolaTune Support to submit your Content ID activation request.

  2. Confirm that your music is entirely original, human-created, and exclusively owned.

  3. Our Quality Control team will review your request and verify eligibility.

  4. If approved, Content ID activation will be handled according to the applicable requirements.

​

Please note: HolaTune accepts eligible AI-generated music for regular distribution to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other platforms. However, AI-generated music is NEVER submitted to YouTube Content ID.

​

All requests are subject to HolaTune QC review and YouTube's Content ID policies.
